Linda R. Hughes 74 of Savannah, MO passed away Thursday, October 14th, 2021, at her daughter's residence in St. Joseph, MO.  She was born in St. Joseph on February 13th, 1947 to Warren G & Winnie Iota (Westcott) Hughes.

Linda was an avid Christmas Village collector with an impressive collection. She enjoyed garage sales, flower gardening, creating fairy gardens, sewing costumes for her dog Bella, but most of all watching her grand and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters; Kelly (Josh) Cox of Savannah and Melissia (Jeremy) Heastan of St. Joseph; Stepbrothers: Barry Walker and Leon Walker; stepsister, Mert Walker; grandchildren Dustin (Holly Taylor) Duncan, Kyndle Cox, Taylor (Dalton) Russell, Toni (Zack Ingram) Henderson; greatgrandchildren, Jaxon Duncan, Zaydence Ingram, Meyer Ingram, Willow Russell, and Jazzy Moore; Sister-in-law Ann Hughes, nephew Warren Lance Hughes, and niece Kenna Hughes McCracken of St. Joseph; Best friends for life Sue Spoonemore and Sharon Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepparents, Merle & Dorothy Walker; brothers, Kenneth Hughes and David Hughes.

A visitation and family receiving hours will be from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, with a time of remembrance at 7:30pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO.  Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO is in charge of local arrangements.
