Leona F. (Cox) Breit 92 Barnard, MO passed from this life on Friday, July 24, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, MO. She was born in Barnard, MO. In 1955 she married Dahlman Breit and he preceded her in death in 1993.
Leona was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Guilford, MO.
Survivors include two sons, Delman Breit of Savannah, and Lavon Michael Breit and significant other Bunny Terry of Savannah; one daughter, Delilah (Michael) Maxwell of St. Joseph; a sister-in-law, Norma Cox of Stafford, AZ, and one grandson, Justin Maxwell of St. Joseph. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother Estel Cox.
Celebration of Life will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home; Savannah, MO. Interment will be in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO. Public visitation and family receiving hours will be 5 to 7 PM Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Funeral Home.
