Larry Lee Freeman 77 years old on Nixa, MO formally of Savannah, MO passed away Saturday June 4th at his home. He was born June 13, 1938 to the late Clyde and Cleta Freeman. Larry graduated from Rosendale High School. He married Judy Zimmerman on August 15, 1959.
Larry worked for several heavy construction companies in the St. Joseph MO area and at the St. Joseph Water Company. After moving to Nixa MO he had a backhoe service company.
He always enjoyed gardening, yard work, and spending time with his family. His wife Judy was the love of his life for 56 years.
He is survived by his wife, Judy of the home; daughter Kim (Gene) Russell of Warrensburg, MO; son Rodney Freeman of Williamsburg, VA; sister Marilyn (Alex) Ojeda of Alton IL. Six grandchildren; Adam Russell, Zachary Russell, Kaylee Russell, Alexandra Freeman, Hunter Freeman, and Megan Freeman along with one great grandson Sawyer Russell.
Funeral services will be held on June 8th at 10:00 AM at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. with a burial at the Savannah Cemetery in Savannah, MO. Visitation and family receiving hours will be held on Tuesday June 7th from 6:00-8:00 at Breit & Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
