Julie Ann Swords, 54, Savannah, MO., passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, MO. She was born September 18, 1961 in St. Joseph, MO. to James & Cecelia (Klein) Swords.
Julie graduated from Maryville R-II high school on May 20,1979 then went on to graduate from North West Missouri University with a bachelor's of science in education in 1985. Julie enjoyed anything that had to do with art.
Julie is survived by brothers, Steve(Diana) Swords, James E. (Nancy) swords of Savannah, MO. Sisters, Jan (Curtis) McFarland-Middleton, of Norwalk, IA, Mari Jo (Hobie) Pieken, Silver City, IA. Julie was preceded in death by her parents James E. Swords Sr. and Cecelia (Klein) Swords.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 3:00PM Sunday March 13, 2016 at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Savannah, MO. Visitation will be 2:00PM - 3:00PM Sunday, March 13, 2016 at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Savannah, MO. Private family internment will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shady Lawn Nursing Home.
