Joyce Elaine Knapp, 90 of Savannah, MO passed away Sunday September 14, 2025 in St. Joseph, MO. She was born December 31, 1934 in Mound City, MO to Earl Jackson & Hallin Amanda (McCombs) Strong.

Joyce had a resolute work ethic only slowing down at 83.  She never knew a stranger and was always willing to help.  She enjoyed traveling and being with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Elaine Moore of St. Joseph and Regina (Thomas) Cunningham of Savannah; two grandchildren, Brandon Routh and Klint (Jaime) Knapp both of Kansas City, MO; great-grandchildren, Shayla (Max) Bocchine, Joshua (Mary) Routh, Jaymin Peek, Karter Knapp, and Harper Knapp; great-great-grandchildren, Willow Routh and Ezra Bocchine.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Donald Knapp Jr.; granddaughter, Melissa Routh; brother, James Edwin Strong; and son-in-law, Gregory Moore.
