Joyce Elaine Bundy was born on August 21, 1940 to Elmer David and Theda O'Callaghan Potter in Trenton, Missouri. She graduated from Milliken High School in Long Beach, California, and worked as an administrative assistant at Hillyard Technical School.
Joyce was a parishioner at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in St. Joseph, Missouri, and a past president and member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, aerie #49, in St. Joseph. She was also a volunteer for Court Appointed Special Advocates and for Mosaic Life Care Guest Relations.
She was preceded by her parents, her husband Leland Doles, her husband Clyde Bundy, and various relatives.
Joyce is survived by her brother, David Wayne Potter, her sons Craig David Doles and wife Mary Lee, Brian Lee Doles, and Bret Michael Doles, three grandsons, one granddaughter, four great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter, three nephews, three grand-nieces, various relatives, and a host of loving friends.
A mass of Christian burial will be Monday February 27, 2017 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be Sunday February 26, 2017 from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM at Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home in St. Joseph.
