Joshua D. Westcott, 40, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019. He was born June 13, 1979 in St. Joseph, MO. He attended Savannah High School. Josh had the ability to make even a stranger laugh and entertain a room with his special talent of singing and playing his guitar.

He is survived by two precious children, Nicholas Westcott, Maryville, Mo and Alexandrea Westcott, Savannah, Mo. Cherished and beloved son of Carol Cox, Kansas City, MO and Tom and Cathy Westcott, Savannah, MO. Siblings: Ashlee Westcott, St. Joseph, MO, Sam (April) Layman, Maryville, MO, Chris (Sharon) Westcott, St. Joseph, MO, and Sarah (Michael) Frankovich, Savannah, MO. Step-Grandmother, Anne Epperson, Savannah Mo. Plus, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.  He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Jeanette Cox and Everett Cox, paternal grandparents, Eunice Bennington and Verl Westcott.

Visitation and family receiving hours will be Friday, June 28, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO.  Celebration of life will be Saturday, June 29, 2019 at from 10:00am-12:00pm at Praise Fellowship of God, Savannah, MO.  Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
