Joseph W. Bower Jr, 45, St. Joseph, MO, lost his three-year battle with cancer on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at his home in St. Joseph. He was born May 21, 1973 in Fort Worth, TX, to Joseph Sr. & Cecelia (Wyatt) Bower. He married Mindy Lou Campbell in Savannah on July 22, 1993 and she survives of the home.
Joseph was a hard worker, loved his grandchildren, was a persistent fighter, who was always there to help his family and friends.
Survivors include his parents, wife, son; Zachariah Bower & Nichole Vice of St. Joseph; two daughters, Marisa Bower & Dalton Briner of Savannah, and Jordan Lynn Bower of the home; sister, Lisa & Jamie Wright of Savannah; niece, Hannah Wright of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Abigail Briner, Blaze Briner, and Zafrina Bower; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Madison Briner, maternal grandparents, Anna & Reid Wyatt and paternal grandparents, Lois & Warren Bower.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, January 22, 2019, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. Memorial contributions can be made to the Joseph W. Bower Jr. Memorial Fund c/o Citizens Bank and Trust. Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
