John Nyle Walker, 65, Fortescue, MO passed from this life on Friday, August 7, 2015 in Leavenworth, KS. He was born September 4, 1949 in Maryville, MO. to John & Elnora (Davidson) Walker. He married Relita Madayag on June 6, 2011 in Oregon, MO. and she survives of the home.

John's family was everything to him. John proudly served his country in the US Navy. He enjoyed hanging at the river and playing cards, was a member of H.O.G., and he loved animals. John's closest friends he has had since high school.

Survivors include his son, John Michael Miller of St. Joseph; three daughters, Tracy Miller of Wathena KS, Rachel & Nick Baxter of Wathena, KS, and Carley & Ricky Stanley of St. Joseph; nine grandchildren, Timmy, (Taylor), Taylor, Cody, Breanna, Emily, Maggie, Karlie, Abby, and Brody; one great-grandson, Timothy; one sister, D. Gaylene Berryman of St. Joseph; three step-children, Neil, Jumbo, and Apple all of the Philippines. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of Life will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home; Savannah, MO. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8: 00 PM Tuesday August 11, 2015 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery north of Fillmore, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
