John R. Martin, Savannah, passed Saturday, July 20, 2019 after at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, MO.  He was born September 14 ^th , 1955 to John F. & Nannie (Page) Martin.  He married Shelly Lewis on March 17, 1979 in Ludlow, MO and she survives of the home.

John loved his family and was especially fond of his grandchildren.  He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, and was always fixing something.

Survivors include his wife; son, Aaron (Sarah) Martin of Savannah and two grandchildren, Harlan Martin and Hazel Martin.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant sister.

A Celebration of life will be held at St. Johns Church in Amazonia, MO on Thursday, July 25th,2019 at 2:00pm. Family will receive visitors at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home on Wednesday July 24th, 2019 from 5-8pm. Interment will be in Savannah Cemetery. Memorial contribution can be made to John R. Martin Memorial Fund.
