John Blaine (J. B.) Phillippe, 74, of Savannah, MO passed away May 30th, 2023 in Saint Joseph. He was born in Saint Joseph on February 11th to Donald and Goldie (Johnson) Phillippe.

He graduated from Savannah High School in 1967.  He married Janet Sayles in 1970. J.B. worked on the family farm all of his life. His son and grandsons will now carry on the farm that meant so much to him. His family was his world and he was the rock of the family. He was a quiet, humble man that was loved by so many.

Survivors include his wife, Janet, of the home, daughter, Kelli (Sean) Nelson, son, Ryan (Raychel) Phillippe, grandsons, Blayne, Reed, and Ryder, sisters, Donna (Bob) Silvey, Janice (Ron) Christmas, sisters-in-law, Joyce Benight and Jackie (Ben) Boyer, nephews and nieces, Rodney, Jeff, Doug, Kim, Sarah, Shaundrea, and Slater and families. Honorary daughter, Heather (Brian) Emmendorfer and their children Gage and Addi.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation and family receiving hours will be from 5:00pm-8:00pm Friday, June 2nd, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home Savannah, MO.  Funeral services will be 3:00pm Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO.  Memorial contributions can be made to Rolling Hills Library at 514 W Main St., Savannah, MO 64485
