Joan M. Nold, 61, of Savannah, MO passed from this life on Saturday, April 26, 2025 in Kansas City. She was born October 8, 1963 in St. Joseph, MO, to Joe and Norma (Hotzel) Snapp. She married David Nold on July 11, 1987.

Joan was a Family Nurse Practitioner with a Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri. She cared deeply about others - whether they be patients, family, friends or strangers - and dedicated her life to helping them any way she could. She believed in Jesus Christ and lived by his teachings, holding her faith close to her heart. She was also an avid nature lover who enjoyed going on adventures with her husband, her dogs and her three granddaughters.

She is survived by her husband (her "Davey"); her son Drew (Lee) Nold of Savannah; her parents Joe and Norma Snapp of St. Joseph; her brothers Bill (Debbie) Snapp of Savannah, Jim (Lisa) Snapp of Forest City, and Bob Snapp of Savannah; her sister Sondra (Paul) Ussary of Stewartsville; her granddaughters Adelade Jeschke, Olivia Nold and Eloise Nold; her parents-in-law Norman and Patsy Nold of Savannah; her brothers-in-law Jeff Nold and Shaun Nold of Savannah; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Joan's family meant everything to her, and she means everything to them. Although she has passed on from this life, it gives them great comfort to know she has been reunited with her late son Adam Nold in the next one.

Public visitation and family receiving hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Celebration of Life will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Savannah Cemetery.
