Jimmie Dale (Jim, JD) Wells, 88, Savannah, MO passed way Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at his home in Savannah, MO. He was born September 26, 1930 to Mannie and Edna (Lance) in Great Bend, KS. He married Dona Lee Graves in Savannah on August 18, 1956 and she survives of the home.
Jimmie was a farmer, musician, welder, and heavy equipment operator. He also enjoyed restoring antique tractors and attending area auctions.
Jimmie is survived by three nieces, Sharon (David) Patterson of Elwood, KS, Georgia Mae (Manuel) Martinez of St. Joseph, and Joyce (Gary) Schmidt of Potter, NE; one nephew, Walter (Linda) Lewis of Elwood, KS; sister-in-law, Jean Wells of Savannah; numerous great nieces and nephews.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Wymon and Robert.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2018 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, Missouri. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, MO.
