Jimmie Wayne Allison, 61, of Amazonia, MO passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at his home in Amazonia. He was born on October 9, 1955 in St. Joseph, MO to J.W. & Martha Louise (Smith) Allison McFee. He married Joni Trapp in St. Joseph on April 13, 1989 and she survives of the home.
Jimmie loved his family but loved cars cars cars almost as much. He enjoyed working on any vehicle or engine. When not working on cars he enjoyed all kinds of fishing and auctions. He raced and volunteered endless hours at The Savannah Speedway for 30 plus years. He worked and retired from Walton Motors after many years.
Survivors include his mother, wife; one son, Jeffery (Jackie Sue) Allison of St. Joseph; two daughters Mandy (Buck) Hughes of Amazonia, Bailey Allison of Amazonia, and Kenady Allison of the home; three brothers, Harold (Jackie) Allison of Weatherby, MO, Ron (Deborah) Allison of St. Joseph, and Holley (Shelly) Allison of Battle Mountain, Nevada; one sister Donna (Danny) Swope of Maysville, MO; one brother-in-law, Victor "Buck" Black and eleven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and one sister, Connie Black.
Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 1:00PM at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. Visitation and family receiving hours will be Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Burial will follow after the services at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The American Heart Association.
