Jetta Gertrude Keller, 89, of Savannah, MO. passed away at Carriage Square Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017. She was born December 10, 1927 in Ismay, MT to Loren & Brenda (Dickson) Todd. She married Gabriel Grant Keller in Troy, KS in 1947.
She loved her family and all of the gatherings that they had together. She raised 11 children by herself, independently, while maintaining the family farm. She enjoyed traveling to the Northwest, gardening, reading, and attending local auctions. She was an avid quilter and a great cook. She graduated from Helena High School.
She is survived by four sons, Steve (Cathy) Keller, Dale Keller, David Keller, Chuck Keller; all of Savannah, five daughters, Brenda (Jim) Stowe of St. Joseph, Linda (Doug) Kinder of Parkville, Wanda Fay Keller of Savannah, Shirley Bohbrink of Glenpool, OK, and Tina Keller of St. Joseph; two brothers, Vern (Veana) Todd of St. Joseph, and Jim (Donna) Todd of Helena; one sister, Marsha (Duane) Huff of Helena; 25 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons; Stan & John Keller, two grandsons; James Stowe and Gabe Keller, four sisters, and one brother.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm, on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Public visitation and family receiving hours will be from 5:00-8:00pm Friday, May 26, 2017 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Burial will follow in Savannah Cemetery.
