Jerry Allen Lininger, 68, Savannah, MO passed from this life on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Heartland Hospital. He was born October 26, 1945 in Lyons, KS to Elmer "Monk" and Charlotte (Hord) Lininger. Jerry married Reada Meek on October 18, 1965 in Savannah, MO. He was of the Christian Faith, enjoyed fishing, hunting, 4-Wheelers, and his family. Jerry retired from MODOT from the road striping crew in December of 2007. Survivors include his wife Reada; two sons, Tully (Lori) Kessler, Gretna, NE, Sam Lininger, Savannah, MO; sister, Judy Weems, Bedford, IA; three grandchildren, Allison, Abby, and Grant; several nieces and nephews. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ronnie Lininger, Jimmy Lininger, Tom Lininger; sisters, Myra Carter, and Julie Sobbing.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 3 PM at Breit - Hawkins Funeral Home. Family receiving hours and public visitation will be 2- 3 PM Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Breit - Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Interment will be in Bennett Lane Cemetery, Savannah, MO.
