Obituary

Jeffrey R. Walker, 61 of Barnard, MO Passed away at his home on Saturday August 8, 2026 surrounded by his family.  He was born in St. Joseph, MO on September 18, 1964 to Donald Lee & Geraldine Mae (Clary) Walker.  He married Mary Beth Lewis on September 30, 1995 in Bolckow, MO and she survives of the home.

Jeff was a graduate of North Andrew, class of 1982. He kept in contact with many of his classmates and friends. He joined the Army in 1985 and served until 1988 with the majority of his time spent in Amberg Germany. He loved his time in the military.

Jeff liked working and providing for his family. He enjoyed fishing, watching the KC Chiefs, Royals, and Sporting KC on TV which he had to learn how to "stream" to watch! He didn't own a cell phone or use a computer if he didn't have to.  He loved spending time with family and friends, whether it be for dinner, playing cards or just visiting. He  was very proud of the fact he never missed a family reunion.

Survivors include his wife, Beth Walker; children, Tobias (Toby) Walker of Maryville, MO, Cordell (Cory) Walker of Oletha, KS, and Joseph (Joe) Walker of Maryville, MO; siblings, Patty (Jamie) Manship of Barnard, MO, Greg Walker of Lincoln, NE, Bob (Dona) Walker of Bolckow, MO, Wes (Traci) Walker of Stanberry, MO, David Walker of Bolckow, and Pam (Larry) Jones of Bolckow, MO; 28 nieces and nephews; 27 great- nieces and nephews and two great-great niece and nephew.   He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Alan Walker and sister-in-law Leisa Walker.
