Jim Grace, Bolckow, MO passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. He was born April 7, 1944 in Darlington, Missouri the son of Carroll J. and V. Vaughn Kidney Grace who preceded him in death.
Jim was a 1963 graduate of Stanberry RII. He was a supervisor at Eveready Battery, Maryville for 20 years, sandwiched between his love of farming, bulldozing and shop work. He was a member of the Rosendale Christian Church.
In November 1962, he was united in marriage to Margaret Stockton. Recently they celebrated 53 years of marriage.
Jim is survived by his wife and four children, Phillip & Joan Grace of Savannah; Kimberly & Scott Wiederholt of Bolckow; Patrick & Susan Grace of Leavenworth, KS, and Kristy & Chris Morey of Hiawatha, KS; Grandchildren, Brittany & Daulton Kerner, Allie and Carlie Grace; Alex, Jacki, and Kelsey Wiederholt; Ben and Aiden Grace; Grace, Garrett and Gentry Morey. Also surviving are an aunt Carol Lee Coffey; cousins; brother-in-law's, Richard & Dede Stockton, Galen & Marge Stockton and Bill Campbell; sister-in-law's, Anita Bridges, Nancy & Gerald Stoll, Mary & Alvis Poe, Cindy Stockton, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, brothers-in-laws, Dale and Don Stockton.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 AM Friday, May 6, 2016 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Visitation and family receiving hours will be Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Burial will be in Bennett Lane Cemetery, Savannah, MO. Memorial donations may be made to Rosendale Christian Church.
