Jacklyn "Kay" Thompson passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at LaVerna Village Nursing Home in Savannah, MO. Kay was born on January 24, 1943, in St. Joseph, MO, to Jack & Mary Lou (Parrish) Green. She graduated from Lafayette High School in 1961 and married Everett D. Thompson on May 27, 1963. He preceded her in death in 2016.
Kay enjoyed spending time with her family and many years of bowling. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a granddaughter, Michaela Townsend.
Survivors include her daughter, Melody (Moe) Myer; granddaughter, Chelsea (Cory) Hagan; sister, Lynn Winfrey & Raymond Smith with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 27 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Public visitation will be 10:00-11:00 am Tuesday, June 27 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.
