Imagene Caywood, 85, of Fillmore, MO passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024 at a local hospital in St. Joseph, MO.  She was born in Maitland, MO on March 1, 1939 to Lonnie & Lydia Belle (Wardlow) Lance. She married Richard Lee Caywood on May 31, 1957 and he preceded her in death in 2017.

Imagene graduated from Maitland High School 1957.  She worked on the family farm until 1978. She decided to work at Laverna Heights as a cook from May 10, 1978 until September 4, 2003.

She is survived by one son, Eddie (Denise) Caywood of Savannah; two daughters, Linda (Steve) Lance and Vickie (Shawn) Oliver both of Fillmore, MO; one brother, Ralph V. Lance of Fillmore, MO; sister, Katy (Gary) Hughes of St. Joseph, MO; seven grandchildren, Misty (Dustin) Schneider, Maggie (Steven) Bower, and Emma (Spencer) Furst , Casey (Ashley) Lance, Colby Lance, Caylee Lance, Brandon (Kristin) Rasnic and eleven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services will be Friday, March 15, 2024, at 11:00am at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah.  Visitation and family receiving hours will be 10:00AM-11:00AM Friday, March 15, 2024 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, MO.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Fillmore Cemetery.
