Herman "Ed" Ordnung, 82, Maryville, MO passed from this life on Friday, October 3, 2014 at Living Community in St. Joseph, MO. He was born July 23, 1932, to Herman Edward Ordnung Sr. and Pauline Miller Ordnung in Andrew County and was raised by his step mother Ella. He married Charlotte A Denney and she preceded him in death on Aug 21, 1983. He married Pat Robbins on July 12, 1990 and she survives of the home.
Ed loved his family and the time he spent with them. For many years he was a dairy and row crop farmer. He was the member of the American Legion Maryville, enjoyed auctions, reading, and country drives. He served honorably in the US Navy in the 1950's, and was a former Andrew County Western District Commissioner.
Survivors include his four sons; Brian & Theresa Ordnung of Savannah, Tracy & Brenda Ordnung of Savannah, Kyle Ordnung of Rea, and Jay & Linda Ordnung of Cleveland, MO; one daughter, Denise & Eddie Caywood of Savannah; seven grandchildren, Misty & Dustin Schneider, Nicole Ordnung, Maggie & Steven Bower, Kendra & Jeffrey Kerns, Emma Caywood, Taylor Ordnung, and Casandra Ordnung; three great grandchildren, Gage, Allison, Kolten.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, and first wife Charlotte.
Celebration of Life will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, Missouri. Interment will be in Savannah Cemetery. Public visitation and family receiving hours will be from 5 to 7 PM Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested donor's choice.
