G.W. Bill Todd, 92, St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. He was born on May 27, 1925 in Fillmore to George & Eva (Shores) Todd. He married Betty Rasnic in Wathena, KS on July 30, 1950 and she survives of the home.
Bill was ornery and one of a kind. He had an amazing memory and enjoyed memorizing licenses plates. Bill loved his family, the outdoors, never met a stranger, and was friendly to everyone. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. His number one was his Sweety Betty. Bill proudly served in the US Army during WWII.
Bill is survived by one son, Terry Todd of St. Joseph; two daughters, Patt (David) Davenport of St. Joseph and Sharon Todd of Cooper TX.; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers, Sunny (Ann) Todd of Savannah and Larry Todd of St. Joseph; one sister, Nancy (Keith) Edwards of Erie, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Todd; granddaughter, Stacy Jo Jones; and four sisters.
Visitation and family receiving hours will be Monday, April 9, 2018 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 2:00pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Burial will be in Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, MO.
