Goldie Fern Oliver 93, of Savannah went to sleep in Jesus on Tuesday October 21, 2025 in Savannah, MO.  She was born September 15, 1932 to Peter & Ruby (Dick) Graves.  She married Frank Oliver in St. Joseph, MO on Sept 14, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 2003.

Goldie was a proud wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother of volunteer Fire Fighters, Support Ops and EMTs.

She loved to talk about Jesus, sing, play her guitar, piano and organ, and try to kneel you. She especially loved to pray with you. She loved Jesus and her family with all her heart.

Goldie was known for her baking of pies, cinnamon rolls, cakes, bread rolls and working in her vegetable garden. She also loved to teach anyone who wanted to learn how to make a pie or rolls.

Survivors include her children Gary (Karen) Oliver of Savannah, Steve (Diane) Oliver of Savannah, Ronald (Vickie) Oliver of St. Roberts, Mo, and Carla Sue (Michael) Potter of Nevada, IA; eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, eight Great-great-grandchildren, sisters Anna Fansher of St. Joseph, Viola Uehlin of Amazonia, Emma (Bill) Coats of Savannah, and brother Larry (Mary) Graves of Gainesville, TX.  She was preceded in death by her parents Pete and Ruby Graves, husband Frank M. Oliver, son Michael Oliver, grandson Scott Allen Oliver, great-grandson Darrik Robertson, two brothers and one sister.

Visitation and family receiving hours will be 5:00pm - 7:00pm Tuesday October 28, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah MO.
