George E. Shurvington Sr, 72 of Savannah, MO passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his home in Savannah.  George was born in McCook NE on June 19, 1948 to Charles and Pearl (Brown) Shurvington.

George enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working in his garden.

George was survived by his sons, George Jr. (Bunnie) Shurvington of Bevier, MO, Govenor (Jeanne) Shurvington of Clever, MO, and Matt Shurvington of Maryville, MO; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother Leonard "Pete" (Luise) Shurvington of Savannah; sister, Gail Briner of Weatherby, MO.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Stanley and Richard Shurvington, and granddaughter, Holly Nicole Shurvington.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO.  Memorial contributions can be made to Ronald McDonald House.
