George V. Campbell, 77, St. Joseph, MO, passed from this life at his home on Friday, May 9, 2014. He was born in St. Camden, MO on June 4, 1936 to Troy & Essie (Carpenter) Campbell. George served and was a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam where he served as an auto mechanic for 10 years. He was loved by all and will be missed. Memorial celebration of life will be 6pm, Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Abby Woods Living & Rehab. George will be cremated and his ashes scattered as per his request. Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home in St. Joseph is in charge of local arrangements.
