Geneva Alma Gossett, 88, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at her home in St. Joseph. She was born in St. Joseph, MO on June 20, 1929 to Gilbert & Pearl (Thompson) Kendall. On March 19th, 1949 she married Charles Gossett and he preceded her in death on February 1980.
She enjoyed going to church, sewing, cooking, ceramics, spending time with her family, and any flavor Jelly Beans or Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
She worked at Douglas Candy, school board and numerous places.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy (Jim) Swords and Pamela (Patrick) Auxier; one son, Timothy (Theresa) Gossett, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at The Pentecostals of St. Joseph in St. Joseph Church. Memorial contributions may made to The Pentecostals of St. Joseph Church
