Garold J. Miller, 68 of Savannah, MO passed away on September 18, 2026 in Oregon, MO. He was born in St. Joseph, MO on November 7, 1957 to Earl & Phyllis (Andrus) Miller.

Garold enjoyed traveling to the mountains of Colorado, hunting, and fishing. He was a proud welder at Altec until his retirement. He cherished his family and loved his grandchildren deeply. He carried dreams of making more memories with them, sharing adventures, stories and laughter every grandparent hopes to experience. Though he did not get the chance to fulfill all those hopes, the love he had for them will be missed. Garold loved to tell stories of past times with such enthusiasm. When he was passionate about something, you knew it! May his memory live on in the love he gave, the stories shared, and the beauty of the outdoors he cherished.

Survivors include his mother, Phyllis Miller of Savannah; daughter, Dacia & John Peters of Savannah; grandchildren; Bradley Peters and Skyler Peters both of Savannah. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Miller and brother, Greg Miller.

Visitation and family receiving hour will be from 12:00pm – 1:00pm Monday, September 28, 2026 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, September 28, 2026 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral service at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph, MO. Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home of Savannah is overseeing local arrangements.
