Florence (Flo) Sutton (Spencer) 92, of Savannah, MO passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Mosaic Life Center.  She was born January 3, 1931 to William and Alice Marie (Eaton) Spencer.  She married Richard Sutton on January 19, 1979 and he preceded her in death in 1993.

She was raised in Savannah and attended school in Savannah.   She traveled extensively and lived in many places such as Los Angeles, California and Fairbanks, Alaska.  Her careers were varied, from working as a Nurses Aid at Methodist Medical Center, to co-owning a jewelry store, to doing in home health care in later years.  In her spare time she enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sister Myrtle Monaco, her children Margaret Starling (Calvin Starling), Patricia Durbin, and Michael Durbin (Sami Yerganian), grandchildren, Byron Brushwood, Paul Durbin (Pandora Durbin), and Seth Durbin, and great granddaughter Morgan Durbin.  She was proceeded in death by her husband Richard Sutton, her parents William and Alice Marie Spencer, her brother William Spencer (Jr), Frederick (Fritz) Spencer, and Donald Spencer.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO.  The family will receive friends 9:00am - 10:00 am Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the funeral home.  A private family burial will be in King City Cemetery at a later date.
