Evelyn Louise White McKillip, 92 of Savannah passed away on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022 at Shady Lawn Nursing home.  She was born January 10 ^th , 1930 to Charley & Anna May (Trimmer) White

Her volunteer work was remarkable. She received from 2008 to 2015 the Volunteer Oates Service Award every year. In 1995 she received the Laverna Heights Food Pantry Award. She received the Retired Senior Volunteer Program of the United States of Americas award, and Lifetime VFW Auxiliary Award.  Also received the Presidents of the United States Volunteer award for 4000 hours of volunteer work. She loved going to the Andrew County Senior Center when she lived in Savannah.  She served her community and country with distinction.  She never complained of her horrific pain she endured this past year. She gave us the unconditional love that we all cherished. The spirit and vision of love that will sustain us in our lives forever.

Evelyn is lovingly remembered by her children: Colette Wiggins of Omaha, Nebraska, J.C. and Julie McKillip of Carter Lake, Iowa, and Jim and Connie Buckingham of Smithland, Iowa, and her brother Clinton & CarolAnn White of Peachtree City, Georgia. She has 62 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Anna May and Charley White; husband, Jim McKillip of 57 years; brother, Melvin White; Sisters, Lucille Carter and Charlotte Warner; Son in Law, Ron Wiggins; great granddaughter, Kelsey May Smith, and her dear friend Marvin Edwards.

Visitation and family receiving hour will be 10:00am-11:00am Saturday, November 5 ^th , 2022 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO.  Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, November 5th, 2022 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, MO.  Memorial Contributions can be made to the Savannah Senior Center.
