Ethel Florene Boyles 99, of Savannah, MO, passed from this life to the next on Friday, May 26, 2023.  She was born December 15, 1923 in Andrew County, MO to George & Viola (Hoyt) Raines.  She married Don Boyles on Sept. 12, 1940 in St. Joseph and he preceded in death on April 2, 1980.

Ethel enjoyed quilting, riding horses, and gardening.  She made hundreds of quilts by hand for family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Deanna Simms of Savannah, daughter-in-law, Diana Boyles of Savannah, numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, and children, George Boyles, Marion Boyles, and Donna Younglove.

Visitation and family receiving hour will be 1:00pm-2:00pm Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO.  Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO.
