Douglas Louis Hart, Rosendale, MO passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019.  He was born April 5 ^th , 1963 in St. Joseph, MO to Wilbur Dean & Opal Marie (Boles) Hart.

Doug loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them.  He proudly served in the US Army for many years reaching the rank of Sargent.  He was a signalman for Union Pacific railroad and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalman Local 72.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

Survivors include his sisters, Brenda (Glenn) Holmes of Russellville, AR, Teresa (Ron) Stufflebean of St. Joseph, and Diana (Richard) Bennett of Plato, MN; aunts, Dora Howard, Louise Potter, Ilene Brandt, Elvanna West, and Jean Pearson. Also one uncle, Gary Boles, numerous nieces', nephews and cousins.  He was proceded in death by his parents and several uncles.

Funeral services will be held at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 10:00am. Family will receive visitors at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Memorial contributions can be made to Hands of Hope Hospice.
