Donna Jean Shreve 96, of Savannah, went to be with the Lord Friday, August 25, 2023 at Laverna Village in Savannah.  She married Otis Shreve on June 20, 1945 in Shannondoah, Iowa and he preceded her in death.

Donna grew up near Fillmore, MO and after her marriage they moved to South Dakota then settled in Ames, Iowa. After her husband passed Donna, with Jackie and Linda, returned to St Joseph then finally to Savannah. She retired from the Andrew County Health Department. After retirement she loved to spend time outdoors. She loved to tend to her flower garden in front of her home every year.

Survivors include daughter, Jackie McNair of Savannah; brother, Ed Steeby; sister, Faye Atkins; and granddaughter, Sarah Fisher.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Linda Kay Fisher; siblings, Zelpha Steeby, Mildred Johnston, Bill Steeby, Floyd Steeby, and Bernita Hughes.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Visitation and family receiving hours will be 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow the funeral service at Bennett Lane Cemetery.
