Donna C. (Pettry) McDonald, 68, Savannah, MO passed from this life on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Mosaic Hospital, St. Joseph, MO. She was born October 7, 1946, to Floyd and Drotha (Hulet) Pettry in Gentry, MO. She married Billie McDonald on May 3, 1978 in Maryville, MO and he preceded her in death on April 5, 2012. Donna was a member of the First Baptist Church, Savannah, MO, and was self-employed as a cosmetologist. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren, going dancing, and out to eat, over all she loved to have fun. Survivors include two daughters, Kelly McDonald and Kristy McDonald and her fiancé Jacob Smith all of Savannah, MO; one sister, Kay (Gene) Boyer; four grandchildren, Chelsea McDonald, Dexter Lawrence, Kierra McDonald, and Logan Moser. Donna was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother Billy Ambroske, and one sister, Pauline Scutkowski.
Celebration of Life will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, Missouri. Interment will be in Savannah Cemetery. Public visitation and family receiving hours will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Midwest Transplant Association.
