Dona Lee Wells, 88 of Savannah, MO passed away Saturday October 4, 2025 at a local facility in St. Joseph.

She was born March 17, 1937 to Walter and Minnie (Shirley) Graves in Savannah MO. She married Jimmy Dale "Jim or JD" Wells in Savannah on August 18, 1956 and he preceded her in death.

Dona worked at Commerce Bank for 41 years.  She enjoyed farming, playing bass guitar in the band with Jim, and she enjoyed quilting.

Dona is Survived by nieces, Sharon (David) Patterson of Elwood, KS, Georgia Mae (Manuel) Martinez of St. Joseph, Joyce (Gary) Schmidt of Potter, NE, and Linda Lewis of Elwood, KS; and numerous great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; sister, Betty Lewis; brother, Robert "Bob" Graves; and nephew, Walter "Wally" Lewis.
