Dennis D. Burge Jr.47, a resident of Savannah, MO passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at his home in Savannah, MO. He was born December 20, 1968 in Kansas City, MO to Dennis D. Sr & Redina Burge. Dennis married Mary Ann Johnson in Branson, MO on January 17, 2004 and she survives of the home.
Dennis worked at the Minnie Cline Elementary School in Savannah. Dennis was a Christian man of strong faith. Dennis loved his family and fishing. Dennis enjoyed listening and playing music in his spare time. He was a quiet man who enjoyed all that nature had to offer. Dennis never complained and always had a positive attitude.
Dennis is survived by his parents, Dennis & Redina Burge of Parkville; grandmother, Rena Lininger of Avondale, MO; wife, Mary Ann Burge; one daughter Ali Burge of Independence, MO; step-sons Jay & Dylan Stagner both of Savannah. Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Christin Robb.
A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held 5:00PM Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Breit - Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Open visitation and family receiving hours will be Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM at Breit - Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Memorial donations may be made to Minnie Cline Elementary Playground Fund or Western Illinois State University Fishing Team.
