Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Smith, 63, St. Joseph, MO spread her wings and left this earth on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Riverside Place, St. Joseph. She was born on January 1, 1952 in St. Joseph to the late James and Mary (Harris) Amsden.
Prior to her nursing home stay Debbie had worked many years at the Stetson Hat Factory and later as a home health caregiver. She enjoyed reading, was an avid collector of fairies and was a person who would shop until she dropped. Debbie loved spending time with her surviving son, Jim Ditto of St. Joseph.
Debbie has been cremated with no service or visitation scheduled.
