Deanna (Dede) Mae Funderburg of Savannah MO, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at her home in Savannah. Deanna was born in Alta, Iowa on August 10, 1940 to Glen and Peggy "Ida Belle" (Cripe) Frear. Deanna married Donald "Don" Leon Funderburg August 23, 1959 in Ravenwood, MO. and he survives of the home.
Deanna was a hairdresser at her home (Deanna's Beauty Shop). Deanna was a graduate of Ravenwood High School in Ravenwood, MO. Deanna was a member of the First Baptist Church, loved to read, cook, sew, crossword puzzles, bowling, collecting things about Elvis and Presidents. Her pride and joy was spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, going to sporting events, baking with them and doing crafts. She was a member of Merry 12 Club. She loved the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas Jayhawks.
Survivors include her children Connie (George) Birdsong of Savannah, MO, Cindy Jones of Savannah, and Kevin (Mackenzie) Funderburg of Maryville, MO; Sister, Joyce Boese of Riceville, IA; Sister-in-laws, Patty Frear of Casper, WY and Virginia Frear of Maryville, MO; nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gene Frear of Maryville, MO, Marvin Frear of Loveland, CO, and Don Frear of Columbus NE; grandson, Bradley Birdsong of Savannah, MO; brother-in-law, Orwin Boese.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am Monday, December 24, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Savannah. Visitation and family receiving hours will be Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home Savannah, MO. Memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church Savannah.
