David DeLon Wainright, 72, St. Joseph, MO, passed away at local hospital in St. Joseph on October 22, 2018.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Mildred Cooper of St. Joseph; daughter, Tammy Wainright of Germany; half-brother, Wally Wainright of Topeka, KS; sister Teressa Smith of St. Joseph and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Zack, George, Alvin, and son, Kirt Wainright.
Public memorial visitation and family receiving hours will be 9:00 to 10:00AM Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Gladden - Stamey Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be 10:00AM Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the family of Mr. Wainright.
