David Taylor, 62, of Savannah, MO went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was born June 4, 1955 in Savannah, MO to Harvey Sr. & Marjorie (Portman) Taylor. He married Terry Douglas in Savannah, MO on July 9, 1973 sharing 44 years of marriage with her surviving of the home.
David loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, son, Cole (Sarah) Taylor of Savannah; seven brothers, Harvey (Thelma) Taylor of St. Joseph, Dennis (Patty) Taylor of St. Joseph, Curtis (Connie) Taylor of Savannah, Lonnie (Jeran) Taylor of Rosendale, John (Karen) Taylor of Fillmore, Jim Taylor of Savannah, and Charles Taylor of St. Joseph; sister, Leslie (Doug) Fletchall of St. Joseph; three grandchildren, Tamera, Emily, and Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Tim Taylor, Steven Taylor; one sister, Pamela Sue Taylor and grandson, Calvin Taylor.
Memorial visitation to be held Saturday, January 6th, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. Memorial donations may be made to Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.
