David L. Cox III, 65, Savannah, MO. passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at his home in Savannah. He was born March 14, 1953 in Tucson, AZ, to David L. Jr. & Evelyn Sue (Johnson) Cox. He married Tobi Nelsen in St. Joseph, MO on July 10, 1976 and she survives of the home.
David was an antique tractor puller and enjoyed his tractors. He liked old western movies and traveling with his wife Tobi all over the country.
David is survived by his wife; sisters, Shirley Simmons, Betty Blakley, Carol Archer, and Evelyn Muse all of St. Joseph with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dexter Cox; sister, Sudie Kruse and nephew, Dewayne Perman.
Visitation and family receiving hours will be Monday, October 22, 2018 from 1:00pm - 2:00pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Funeral Services will be 2:00pm, Monday October 22, 2018 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Troy, KS.
