Darlene (Townsend) Wall, 88 of Savannah, MO Passed away Wednesday January 20, 2016 at LaVerna Village in Savannah, MO. She was born on February 10, 1927 to Floyd and Marguerite Townsend. She was a graduate of Rosendale High School, a devoted wife and mother. Darlene was known for her embroidered tea towels and pillowcases that she gave to friends and family. She married James Wall on August 9, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1988.
Darlene is survived by children; Everett (Lisa) Wall, St. Joseph, Grace Kathryn (Bob) Dunlap, Kansas City, MO, Eugene (Connie) Wall, Steven Arlo (Julie) Wall of Savannah; one sister Lela Mae Hailey, King City; seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Her parents, two brothers, Lloyd Gene and Robert "Tuke" Townsend and her son James Allen Wall preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 25, 2016, 2PM at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO with family visitation Monday, January 25, 2016 from 1PM-2PM at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Interment will be in Savannah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to The American Hart Association.
