Darlene Kay McCoy Fraser, of St. Joseph, MO passed away at her home on Thursday, January 24, 2018 at the age of 73. Darlene was born June 3, 1945 in Portsmouth, VA to Andrew & Cora (McKnight) Betts.
Darlene loved her family and the moments she shared with them. She enjoyed Gardening and collecting light houses.
Darlene is survived by her children, Kim (Dennis) Wisler of Wathena, Ks, Teresa Gillpatrick (John Beecher) of St. Joseph, and Jack K. Jr. (Susie) McCoy of St. Joseph; five grandchildren and nine great-children; sisters, Janet (John) Eiberger of Amazonia, MO, and Twin sister, Arlene O'Connell of Wagoner, OK; sister-in-law, Clarlene Betts of St. Joseph. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Jack K. McCoy and Delbert Fraser; brother, Owen Betts; brother-in-law, Larry O'Connell; grandson, Travis Gillpatrick.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Gladden Stamey Funeral Home in St. Joseph, MO. Visitation and family receiving hour will be Monday, January 28, 2019 from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Ashland Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society.
