Darlene Christian, 74, Savannah, MO, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at a local hospital in St. Joseph, MO. She was born December 22, 1943 to Fred & Genevieve (May) Cronk. She married George Christian on August 27, 1961 in Maryville, MO and he preceded her in death on May 25, 2010.
Darlene loved to teach and help others improve themselves. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and caretaker.
She is survived by two sons, Jim (Karree) Christian of Ravenwood, MO and Randy (Jane) Christian of Burlington Junction, MO; daughter, Angela (Chad) Fulton of Savannah; sister-in-law, Joyce Cronk of Arkoe, MO; two brothers, Bill (Helen) Cronk of Willcox, MO and Roger Cronk of Moravia, IA; six grandchildren, Kasen Sansonetti, Melodie Baker, Mikeal Christian, Zoey Fulton, Serria Christian, and Hailey Christian; great-grand-daughter, Annalee Baker. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Bonnie Fannon. Memorial visitation will Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home Savannah, MO. Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
