Daisy Darlene (Brunner) Sayles, 95, passed away on May 6, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, MO. She was born in Amazonia on April 20, 1920 to Gottifred & Elsa (Bezonia) Brunner. She married Ralph Sayles on January 2, 1945 in Troy KS and he preceded her in death on May 14, 1990.
Daisy was a homemaker who loved her children and family dinners. She was very involved at The Andrew County Senior Center. She enjoyed dancing and playing pitch.
She is survived three daughters; Joyce Benight of Faucett, MO, Janet & J.B. Phillippe of Savannah, and Jacqueline & Benjamin Boyer of Savannah; six grandchildren, Kim & Cindy Kennedy, Kelli & Sean Nelson, Ryan & Raychel Phillippe, Sarah Pedersen, Shaundrea Boyer, Slater Boyer, and numerous great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and brother-in-law Susanna & Herman Siddens, and son-in-law Gus Benight.
Celebration of Life will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 8, 2015 at Breit - Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. Public visitation and family receiving hours will be from 10:00-11:00am Friday May 8, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Savannah Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to The Andrew County Senior Center.
