Cindy Kay (Gibson) Hodge, 57, St. Joseph, Missouri passed from
this life on Sunday, September 14, 2014 surrounded by her family
in St. Joseph. She was born in St. Joseph, MO on January 23, 1957
to Robert & Mildred (Steeby) Gibson. Cindy was one of nine children and that's where she learned to help and do anything for her family. She graduated from Lafayette high school in 1975. Cindy was a great mother and mamo who loved
her grandson Austin dearly. Survivors include a son, Matthew Hodge; daughter,
Amanda Hodge; a brother, Jay Gibson all of St. Joseph, MO;
three sisters, Judy (John) Hudson, Goldsboro NC, Karla (Brian)
Schaefer, and Penny (Edward) Barnett, all of St. Joseph, MO;
one grandson Austin, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Cindy
was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Garry and Bob
Gibson and two sisters, Beverly Keyes, and Sharon Caples.

Celebration of Life will be 1:00 PM Friday, September 19, 2014 at
Gladden-Stamey Chapel, St. Joseph, Missouri. A private graveside
service will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to
the family of Ms. Hodge.
