Charles McCray, 70, Savannah, MO, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at his home in Savannah, MO. He was born March 22, 1945 in Quonset Point, Rhode Island to Millard & Marjorie (Wallace) McCray.
Charles graduated from the University of Missouri with a BS in education and then attended North West Missouri State University and received his master's degree. He taught Ag 29 years in the Rosendale and North Andrew Consolidated School Districts. He enjoyed spending time with his family & friends, sports, hunting and fishing.
Charles is survived by one sister, Sarah & Jim Stark of Stilwell, KS; cousins, Mary Chirnside of Lincoln, NE, Sue & Tom Olson of Bartlesville, OK, Larry & Molly Doll of Colorado, and other cousins; close friends, Dean Swofford and Bill Myers both of Savannah, MO, and Jack Hilsabeck of St. Joseph.
A Memorial Visitation will be held 1:00PM - 3:00PM Saturday March 19, 2016 at Breit - Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Private family Inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to North Andrew Consolidated School District.
