Charles Eugene Davis, 87, of Maryville, MO passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017 at his home in Maryville. He was born on October 26, 1929 in Fillmore, MO to Charles & Blanch (Chandler) Davis. He married Esther Louise Hartman April 30, 1955 and she preceded him in death in 1998. He married Kerlin Langley January 6, 2000 and she survives of the home.
Gene loved his family, grandkids and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed Playing golf, dancing, and playing pitch. He was a St. Louis Cardinals and MU Tigers fan.
Survivors include three sons, William "Bill" & Tammy Davis of St. Joseph, Ronnie & Linda Alley of St. Louis, and Alan Langley of Maryville; one daughter, Donna & Lonnie Tompkins of Maryville; one brother, Donald & Barbara Davis of The Villages, FL; seven grandchildren, Jeff Davis, Jennifer Graham, Amisue Aaron, Manny Rasnic, Jonathan Gregory, Josh Gilbert, Colten Langley, and numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be 10:00AM Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Visitation and family receiving hours will be Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial and Military Honors will follow in Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore MO.
