Carolyn J. Holt, 83, of Savannah, MO passed away with her loving family surrounding her on Monday, December 4th, 2023 at her home in Savannah.  She was born January 25th, 1940 to Harley & Catherine (Elliott) Denney.  She married Louis W. Holt in Savannah, MO on January 25th, 1958 and he survives of the home.

Carolyn was a wife, mother and farmer.  She worked hard and loved her family and all those precious moments they shared together.  She enjoyed reading, watching all sports (especially girls softball), working in her garden, and refurbishing furniture she found at auctions.

Survivors include her husband, Louis Holt; her children, Shelly Keely of Country Club, MO, Cheryl (Scott) Brecheisen of Afton, OK, Lorie (George Spickard) Veale of Savannah, Kathy (Kevin) Anderson of Sunrise Beach, Becky Davison of Savannah; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Charolette Ordnung; brother, Gary Denney; son-in-law, Scott Keely; and grandson, Nick Veale.

Visitation and family receiving hour will be 1:00pm – 2:00pm Thursday, December 7th, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO.  Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Thursday, December 7th, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO.
