Carolyn June Garver, of St. Joseph, MO passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 30, at the age of 88. Carolyn was born June 16, 1930 in St. Joseph, MO. to W. Lee & Ada (Sontheimer) Dailey. Her mother passed away at a young age and her stepmother Geneve (Richards) Daily helped raise her. She married Donald Garver on April 1967 in St. Joseph, MO and he preceded her in death.
Carolyn was dedicated to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was close to her family including her family members who were far away. She enjoyed genealogy and traveling and camping.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Mary Margert (Del) Weddle of St. Joseph; brothers, W. Lee Daily III of Oregon State and Charles (Sherrie) Daily of Washington State; sister-in-law, Dixie Daily of Utah; grandchildren, Sara Berry, Amy Cline-Shelton (Mike Shelton); great-grandchildren, Jhett Kirschbaum, Garet Cline, Dakota Shelton, Gentry Clein, and Colt Berry. Numerous nieces and nephews all of the country she cherished. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Robert White; daughter-in-law, Carol White; granddaughter, Wendy Kirschbaum; grandson-in-law, Roger Kirschbaum; brother, Richard Daily; sister, Kathleen Payne and brother-in-law, Elvin Payne. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 2:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in St. Joseph, MO. Visitation and family receiving hour will be Monday, February 4, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home, St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Mount Auburn Cemetery, St. Joseph, MO.
