Carl Frederick O'Callaghan, 61 of Savannah, MO passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at his home in Savannah. He was born June 22, 1963 to James O'Callaghan Jr. and Jane Speer. He married Susan Brown in Savannah MO on February 16, 1990 and she survives of the home.

Carl enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He could also be found on Saturdays playing pool in a pool league for many years. He spent many deer seasons processing venison for local hunters. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, wife, grandkids and his many friends. He could often be found looking for worms after the rain and fishing at midnight.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, April O'Callaghan and Paige O'Callaghan both of St. Joseph, MO; grandchildren, Hannah, Moriah, Reegen, Malia, Zain, Kashus, and Joshua Jr; and six half-sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and some very close friends.

Visitation and family receiving hours will be 5:00pm-7:00pm Tuesday March 25, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday March 26, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO.
